The CRCE Cell at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) organised an Ideathon on 24 March 2025, providing a platform for participants to showcase their innovative ideas and receive constructive feedback from experienced entrepreneurs. Out of 44 registered teams, 20 were shortlisted to present their pitch decks before a panel of esteemed judges, including Mr. Ashok B, Mr. Rakesh Totakar, Mr. Vinyas Purushotam, and Mr. Vivek R M. The event commenced with insightful remarks from the judges and a unique address by Dr. Geetha G, Director of SCSE, emphasising the importance of innovation and practical applications. Each team was given 5 minutes to present their idea, followed by a 3-minute Q&A session. The high quality and diverse range of ideas, from tech startups to social impact projects, made the selection process challenging, culminating in announcing the top 3 teams, who distinguished dignitaries awarded certificates and prizes.

The Ideathon was a resounding success, achieving its objectives of encouraging creativity and promoting entrepreneurial thinking. The participants benefited greatly from the judge’s insights and the interactive sessions, which provided valuable perspectives on innovation and feasibility. To further enhance future editions, it is recommended that more time be allocated for Q&A and that additional categories be introduced to recognise different ideas.
