The exclusive session brought together eminent stakeholders from the dairy sector, including Mother Dairy (a unit of Karnataka Milk Federation – KMF), BAMUL Nandini (Bangalore Cooperative Milk Union Ltd.), and Tetra Pak India Pvt. The session provided a unique experiential learning platform, enabling participants to observe the national standard formulation process and understand its impact on India’s food sector.

Reflecting on the session, Dr. Upadhyay stated, “Collaborations between academia and regulatory bodies are essential in bridging scientific knowledge with practical industry applications. Such engagements equip our students with the skills and awareness necessary to address real-world challenges in food safety and quality.”

The Department of Food Technology extended its appreciation to Mr. Satheesh Kanth and the BIS Bengaluru team for their invitation and hospitality.
