Bengaluru, 19 August 2025: Students from JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET), have achieved remarkable success at the prestigious IBM Pan India Hackathon 2025. Competing against hundreds of teams from across the country, two teams from the University advanced to the national finals, an accomplishment that highlights the institution’s commitment to fostering innovation and problem-solving excellence.
IBM organised a national-level hackathon that allowed students to showcase their creativity, technical expertise, and collaborative spirit. Out of hundreds of participating teams, only 108 qualified for the final stage. Both teams representing JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) secured their place in this competitive group.
Further adding to this milestone, Team 2 was recognised as one of the Top Diversity Winning Teams across India, a distinction that reflects the University’s emphasis on inclusivity, mentorship, and empowering diverse voices in technology.
The event not only showcased the students’ technical brilliance but also underscored the University’s broader mission of cultivating problem-solvers who can address real-world challenges. Participation in such platforms enhances students’ readiness for global careers and strengthens JAIN (Deemed-to-be University)’s reputation as a hub for engineering and technology innovation.
