Bengaluru, 2 December 2025: The Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) hosted a formal Book Release Ceremony to celebrate the publication of From Learning to Leading: Higher Education as a Bridge to Society, Experience and Entrepreneurship. The event was organised by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering to honour the work of the author, Dr Sukumar R, Professor, CSE and Digital Learning & Office of Academics (FET Local Chapter).
The ceremony commenced with a welcome address by Dr A. Suresh Kumar, Professor and Research Coordinator, Department of CSE, who underscored the academic value and societal relevance of the newly released publication. This was followed by a formal introduction of the author, highlighting his scholarly background, research expertise, and the inspiration behind developing the book.

Following the launch, Dr Sukumar R addressed the audience, expressing gratitude to the institution, colleagues, publishers, and mentors who contributed to the successful completion of the publication. He outlined the key ideas explored in the book and highlighted its intended impact on educators, learners, and policymakers.
Speaking on the significance of the publication, Dr Sukumar R remarked: “This book represents my commitment to bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world leadership.
