Bengaluru, 24th March 2026: The Faculty of Engineering and Technology at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) hosted a campus visit by DAISEKI Co., Ltd. on 24th March 2026, in coordination with Zenken. The visit formed part of an early engagement initiative aimed at identifying and preparing students from the 2027 graduating batch, particularly in core mechanical disciplines, for international career opportunities.
The visit was designed to familiarise students with the company’s operations, work culture, and expectations within the Japanese corporate environment, while also initiating discussions on future recruitment collaboration. Students from the 2027 to 2029 graduating batches, including those pursuing Japanese language training, attended the session.
The first segment of the programme featured a company presentation by DAISEKI representatives, outlining organisational activities, career pathways for international candidates, and the technical and linguistic competencies required for employment in Japan. The session included an interactive discussion, where students sought clarification on job roles, language proficiency requirements, and long-term career growth prospects.
The second session involved a meeting between the visiting representatives and the University’s placement team. Discussions focused on recruitment planning for the 2027 batch, alignment of academic training with industry requirements, and potential opportunities for internships and sustained collaboration. The visit concluded with a campus tour, during which the representatives reviewed academic and infrastructure facilities.
The interaction resulted in the establishment of an initial engagement framework for future recruitment and strengthened the University’s outreach to international employers. It also provided students with direct exposure to global industry expectations, particularly within the Japanese professional context.
The initiative reflects ongoing efforts to expand international placement avenues and equip students with the skills and awareness required to pursue global career pathways.
