Kanakapura, November 5, 2025: The NSS Wing of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, JAIN (Deemed-to-be-University), successfully organised a National-Level Online Quiz from October 28 to November 2, 2025, as part of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025. The event was conducted under the national theme “Vigilance – A Shared Responsibility”, aligning with the vision of promoting transparency, integrity, and ethical conduct among the youth.
The week-long online initiative brought together over 450 students from various disciplines across India, creating an engaging platform to foster awareness of vigilance, accountability, and anti-corruption values. The interactive quiz featured thought-provoking questions on ethical governance, digital integrity, and responsible citizenship, encouraging participants to reflect critically on the role of vigilance in nation-building.
The event aimed to empower students to connect theoretical understanding of ethics and governance with real-world applications, thereby strengthening their moral reasoning and civic awareness. Through this experiential learning exercise, participants enhanced their understanding of good governance, data privacy, and responsible digital behaviour.
Speaking about the initiative, Dr Raghu N, NSS Programme Officer, remarked, “Vigilance Awareness Week is a reminder that integrity and ethical behaviour begin with individual accountability. This online quiz not only educated students on vigilance and governance but also inspired them to practise ethical conduct in digital and professional spaces. Our aim was to cultivate a generation that values transparency and contributes actively to a corruption-free society.”
Faculty members Dr Shivukumar C, Dr Naveen Kumar, and Dr Benaka Prasad S B guided the event as part of the organising committee, ensuring academic rigour and meaningful engagement throughout the programme.
Under the theme “Promoting Integrity and Ethics in Digital Practices”, the quiz highlighted the importance of vigilance in cyberspace—emphasising responsible online behaviour, data security, and ethical digital engagement. Participants were encouraged to think critically about how moral responsibility extends beyond physical actions to digital interactions, fostering a comprehensive understanding of vigilance in today’s interconnected world.
The National-Level Online Quiz on Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 successfully blended education, engagement, and ethical reflection. It reinforced JAIN (Deemed-to-be University)’s commitment to nurturing socially responsible and ethically conscious individuals who uphold the values of honesty, fairness, and accountability.
