Quasars Club of the School of Aerospace Engineering at JU-FET organized the National Space Day event on 23rd August 2024. The focus of this session was on the achievements of ISRO and the lessons that can be adapted through the challenges faced by ISRO on various missions. This session was led by Dr. G Raju (ex-scientist from the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)) in person and Shri. B N Ramakrishna (Director of the Indian Space Research Organisation Telemetry, Tracking, and Command Network (ISTRAC) at ISRO) virtually.
Post discussions and Q&A with chief guests, students led Team Avadhi Exhibition. This exhibition presented their journey in model rocketry and aerospace engineering. It featured a display of rockets and other aerospace models that had been successfully launched in competitions and events.
This program was followed by a Treasure Hunt to add an element of fun and engagement. This tech treasure hunt encouraged students to follow clues that were space-related and were designed to test participants' knowledge of space science, astronomy, and notable space missions.
