JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), in collaboration with Anova, hosted Codewave 3.0, a hackathon initiative for students of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering—Data Science. The event was held on February 13, 2025, at JAIN Global Campus.

The hackathon's objective was to equip participants with essential data visualisation skills and enable them to transform raw data into meaningful insights. The 60 participants mastered the fundamentals of data visualisation, crafted impactful visualisations with R and Tableau, addressed real-world challenges through data visualisation, and leveraged R packages for dynamic visualisations. Additionally, students who participated in this event gained insights and proficiency in R and Tableau, enhanced data storytelling, interactive dashboard development, and problem-solving through visualisations.

The 12 winners of the Codewave 3.0 hackathon received Rs. 5000 in prize money. This initiative has enriched the participants' skill sets and imbibed innovation and collaboration within the academic community.
