Project exhibitions are knowledge-sharing platforms for both students and teachers to share their expertise and experience with each other. These exhibitions provide a common platform for young students to demonstrate their talent through a variety of working and non-working scientific models to a large audience. These exhibitions help budding students acquire multiple skills that are essential for their professional careers. These exhibitions also aim to promote scientific attitude, multiple intelligence, and social constructivism among the student fraternity.
The NSS Wing of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Faculty of Engineering and Technology joined hands with ST Thomas PU College to organise a project exhibition on the eve of Kanaka Utsava Celebrations at Kanakapura. The event facilitated hands-on learning in science and technology while providing a common platform to all the young students. The event fostered collaborative learning among the students and helped them present their innovative ideas to a larger audience.
Mr. Suresh, an Hon’ble Member of Parliament from the Kanakapura constituency inaugurated the event on 16th November 2022 at ST Thomas PU College, Kanakapura. The event received an excellent response with the participation of over 900+ students from different educational institutions. There was a healthy exchange of creative ideas between the teachers and students throughout the event and everyone actively demonstrated their scientific models. The event also gave an opportunity for all the students to witness the novel things available in government school settings.
The exhibition was a huge success as it ignited the rational mind sets of young children and inspired them to take up a sustainable scientific journey in their future.
