Bengaluru, 15 July 2025: JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) is pleased to announce that two outstanding student teams from the School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCSE), Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) Campus, have qualified for the Final Round of the prestigious IBM National Hackathon 2025.
The first round of the national-level competition was held on 15th July 2025, attracting participation from top institutions across the country. Demonstrating commendable innovation, problem-solving acumen, and technical proficiency, both SCSE teams secured their place among the finalists.

Team 1: Anagha Upadyaya, Chandana Ashritha
Team 2: Suraj J, Arpit, Manthan Padalia
Faculty Mentor: Dr Garima Sinha
These teams will now proceed to the final round, which is scheduled to take place from the evening of August 5th to the afternoon of August 8th, 2025, at the S-VYASA University Campus, Bengaluru.
The IBM National Hackathon is a flagship event that encourages students across India to collaborate, ideate, and develop technological solutions to real-world challenges. The hackathon fosters critical thinking, teamwork, and hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools and platforms.
