Where Circuits End and Legends Begin: Farewell 2K26 Honours the EEE Class of 2026

Bengaluru, 12th May 2026: For the graduating Class of 2026 in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Faculty of Engineering and Technology, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), 12 May marked more than the end of an academic programme. It was a moment to pause, reflect, and celebrate the experiences, friendships and achievements that shaped four years of learning and growth.

Organised by the Spark Club, the department's Farewell 2K26 brought together students, faculty members and staff to honour the outgoing Batch of 2022-26. Centred on the theme, "Where Circuits End and Legends Begin", the event recognised the graduates' journey while looking ahead to the opportunities and challenges that await them beyond campus.

The programme unfolded as a shared reflection on the experiences that defined student life. Faculty members opened the event by acknowledging the academic accomplishments and contributions of the graduating batch, encouraging them to pursue their aspirations with confidence and professionalism. Their messages highlighted the importance of resilience, lifelong learning and ethical leadership in a rapidly evolving engineering landscape.

As the event progressed, the atmosphere shifted from formal recognition to personal storytelling. Students revisited memorable classroom experiences, project milestones and friendships forged throughout their time in the department. Interactive activities, cultural performances and memory-sharing sessions created moments of both celebration and nostalgia, allowing graduates and their juniors to connect across batches and exchange perspectives on their academic journeys.

The farewell also provided an opportunity for students to express gratitude to the faculty members and mentors who had supported them throughout their studies. For many participants, the event reinforced the strong sense of community that defines the EEE department and highlighted the value of collaboration, mentorship and shared learning.

Attended by 45 students, nine faculty members and four non-teaching staff, Farewell 2K26 concluded on an emotional yet optimistic note. More than a ceremonial send-off, the gathering served as a reminder that university education extends beyond technical knowledge. It fosters relationships, character and leadership qualities that continue to shape graduates long after they leave the classroom, preparing them to contribute meaningfully to their professions and society.
