The Zigbee Student Club, under the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (IoT), successfully launched its new logo during the Arduino Day celebrations on 21st March 2025 at Jain Global Campus, Kanakapura, Karnataka. Organised as a one-day event, the launch was attended by over 150 students, faculty members, and esteemed guests, including Dr Geeta, Dr Deepak Sinha, and Dr Suresh Kallam. The event commenced with a ceremonial welcome of the guests, followed by an invocation song and the traditional lighting of the lamp. The unveiling of the new logo was accompanied by an address from Mr Suresh Kallam, who highlighted the club’s commitment to fostering collaboration, technical excellence, and innovation in wireless communication and embedded systems. The refreshed logo symbolises the club’s evolving identity, reinforcing its mission to advance research and practical applications of Zigbee technology while encouraging broader student participation and engagement.
The event also featured motivational speeches by distinguished guests, offering insights into technological advancements and industry trends. Harsh Kochar, the Zigbee Club Lead, inspired attendees with his speech on leadership and continuous learning. The programme provided a platform for knowledge-sharing and technical discussions, with the department reaffirming its dedication to supporting the club’s initiatives.
