Master of Technology in Industrial Automation and Robotics is a two-year postgraduate programme. The program prepares students for design, interface, installation and troubleshooting of industrial automation systems. The course emphasises on electronics, electrical controls, motors, programmable logic controllers, servo systems, robotics, hydraulics and pneumatics, and mechanical systems. Students will integrate electronics and electrical controls with mechanical systems and programmable controllers to explore alternative trade-offs in the process of problem-solving and troubleshooting in the field of automation.
Industry oriented curriculum is introduced to impart technical know-how to students, promote their problem solving skills and innovation of new technologies.
In the curriculum we have introduced various skill development programs and Industrial training to equip the students with hands on training in the fields of Robotics, Human Machine interface, Machine vision, Machine learning, Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, MATLAB and Python programming.
