Eligibility

Admission Eligibility – B.Tech. (Regular)

  • Pass in PUC / 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Computer Science / Electronics / and obtained at least 60% marks (55% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together, of any Board recognized by the respective State Governments / Central Government / Union Territories or any other qualification recognized as equivalent there to
  • IB students should get 24 * credits to qualify for the course
  • Cambridge students must study 2 or 3 subjects at an advanced level
  • Candidates who have completed 12th or equivalent exams or final year students of class XII or its equivalent, waiting for examination results may also apply
  • Provisional admission will be given on predicted scores. However, the actual score should be as per eligibility standards of the University. Students who fail to get the required credits his / her admission stands to be canceled
  • Senior Secondary School Certificate of National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) New Delhi is considered equivalent to plus two. Holders of such certificate are also eligible.

Courses Duration: 4 years, 8 semesters

How to Apply

Online Mode Only

  • Step 1: Log on to online application form
  • Step 2: Duly fill the application form as per your records
  • Step 3: Upload the required documents
    - Passport size photograph
    - 10th marks card
  • Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the form

Final Admission Process

Candidate having the provisional admission letter and an aggregate percentage of 60 and above are eligible for final admission process. For completion of admission process candidates have to submit the below-mentioned documents:

  • Class 10 Marks Card (Original + 2 copies)
  • Class 12 / PUC Marks Card (Original + 2 copies)
  • Transfer Certificate (Original + 2 copies)
  • Migration Certificate (Original + 2 copies)*
  • 10 passport size and 10 stamp size photographs
  • Caste Certificate and Income Certificate (Original + 2 copies) **
  • Parent/guardian’s PAN card photocopy
  • Provisional Admission Offer Letter (Original)
  • Provisional Admission Fee Receipt (Original to be shown + 1 Copy to be attached)

*For Non-Karnataka students only

Note: Candidates seeking loan should submit the above documents and finish their final admission procedure in order to get expenditure letter.

Scholarship Category
Candidates looking for a scholarship under Defense, SC/ST/OBC categories have to produce the necessary documents in order to avail the scholarship*.

*Scholarship for category students will be given after scrutiny of the documents from the University. Only 2 seats per branch are allotted under category scholarship. Completion of Admission Process (After 12th Standard Results)

Cancellation/ Refund policy

The amount, INR 50,000 paid towards provisional admission is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances, except:

  • If the candidate does not qualify as per the admission criteria, in which case, the candidate has to notify the University within 3 days of the announcement of the results.
  • If the candidate gets an admission into an IIT or NIT, in which case, the candidate has to inform the University within 4 days of seat confirmation at the respective institute, with relevant documents.
  • A sum of INR 10,000/- will be deducted as processing fee in case of refund of fee.
